Smoked Grey Oak is created by reacting the natural tannins in the timber rather than simply staining the surface, which is what gives these planks their deep, multi-tonal grey character — a colour that runs into the wood instead of sitting on top of it. A light brushing then opens up the grain, adding a subtle texture you can feel underfoot.

The result is a contemporary floor with genuine depth: cool grey tones that shift with the light, framed by the honest grain of real oak. Built as an engineered board, it pairs a true oak surface with a cross-bonded core for excellent stability, making it well suited to modern homes with underfloor heating where solid wood would be a risk.
