Invisible Lacquer Finish Oak is for anyone who loves the look of raw, untouched timber but needs a floor that can actually cope with daily life. A specialist "invisible" lacquer is bonded to the surface to mimic completely bare wood — no yellowing, no plasticky sheen, none of the warmth that ordinary lacquers add — so the oak keeps its pale, natural, just-sanded appearance while gaining a genuinely hard-wearing shield.

The trick is in the finish chemistry: it protects against scuffs, spills and footfall like a quality lacquer, yet stays optically clear and matt so the eye reads only the wood. Underneath sits a 14/3mm engineered oak board with a real 3mm oak wear layer over a stable core, giving you a surface that resists seasonal movement, works with underfloor heating, and holds up far better than truly untreated timber ever could.
